Unveiling Party 4th, April, 2026(Photo update)
Still recovering from the love, the care, the conversation and the success of this unveiling party .
(It was a private event, because it was the first and also because of space-size)

This is definately one of my best achievements this year. I have always been doing portraits of myself every year, but I havent been doing unveiling parties.

I enjoyed every moment of making this artwork until its unveiling on 4th, April, 2026 and I still enjoy and love it so much.

It was such an emotional time for me hosting this event at my studio; sharing a space that is so dear to me with friends. I remember at times I would pause and just enjoy watching all the fun activities they engaged in and it meant everything for me. I am forever loving this memorable day.

The self portrait will be on view at my studio if you would like to visit and view, you are welcomed, just DM me or call me +254768225932.

The vlog of the event will be out soon, it was documented by

Thank you to my friends

Size: 100cm×80cm

Medium: Eggshells and Acrylics On board

'How We Grew Up 2' is an artwork I made in 2022. The artwork marked the first largest canvas I ever did mosaic on. 'How We Grew Up 2' highlights the scenic nights of Mukuru Slums the daily activities and the constant entertainment by drunkards outside pubs, Hotels and Video shops. As a child I grew up watching this kind on instances take place over and over again.

Thank you .centre for the feature on your website.
I was once a student of AEF Reuben Comprehensive School.
I got my first introduction to art in this school through my teacher Christopher Matuva (Chris)
I did My KCPE in 2015.

Grateful to be recognized as a change maker who uses their story to make a difference.

Thanks for the amazing perfomance.
The play explains the realities of the slum and specifically Korogocho slums in Kenya; with special highlights of post election violence events and during elnino rains
Thanks for considering me as the artist to capture this beautifully deep story.

Stay tuned for closeups of this amazing artwork.
