Following last night's champions league action, This year's Champions league finalists have already been determined. It will be played in Munich, Germany and the two teams will be PSG and Inter Milan.
Yesterday was the second leg of the semifinal of the Champions league. Inter Milan hosted Spanish favorites Barcelona while Paris Saint Germain hosted Premier League favorites Arsenal. The matches were played with great intensity, each team with lots of experience playing under such pressure and at that level.
It is safe to say that both games were open games- either team could have won. Barcelona came into this tie with a 3-3 draw against inter in their last match at Camp Nou. However, the Italian team proved a worthy opponent after successfully making a comeback to win the game very close to stoppage time. The result of the match, 4-3 and 7-6 on aggregate. Arsenal on the other hand, had a bitter experience. They lost the first match up at the Emirates stadium in their last meeting 0-1. They had a great job getting back into the match, and then try to win it on away ground. PSG however, had other ideas. Fabian Ruiz scored from a corner kick in the first half. Hakimi scored a second, winning goal in the second half for PSG. Arsenal Managed to get a consolation in stoppage time but as fate would have it, it was not enough to send them to Munich.
