In the midst of strict rules and discipline in NYS, I found myself chasing the highs of illicit drink in Mathare North, where alcohol flowed like water in sachets. My destiny was on the line, and the devil was all too aware of the greatness God had planned for me - that's why he tried to destroy me. But I'm not here to dwell on the past.

As I reflect on those days, I'm reminded that the enemy is still on the prowl, seeking to hijack destinies and stifle greatness. The truth is, many are facing similar battles today, struggling with addiction and feeling like they've lost their way. But here's the thing: your story isn't over yet. Your destiny is still within reach. And to those who care, let's join hands to support and rescue those who've been held back. Together, we can help them reclaim their purpose and reach their full potential.

Today we are friends who has become family with one common goal to carry the message of strength hope and courage to every family out there who has a loved one struggling with Alcoholism, Drug and Substance Abuse addiction.
Come join us every Wednesday at 3 pm for a fellowship at Ahero shopping center on your way to bahati. Come listen and share your struggles, strengths, and weaknesses without being judged. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop using.

One of the hardest things was learning that we were worth recovery, and now this journey has taught us that it's never too late for us to be what we might have been!
Recovery is hard. Regret is harder.
What We Fear Doing Most, Is Usually What We Most Need To Do bearing in mind that Everyday is a second chance...Though no one can go back and make a brand-new start, but anyone can start from now and make a brand-new ending.

If you see me very passionate about addicts, don't wonder why it's because God saved me.
We are now a team of 17 addicts who have stopped completely. Rehabilitation without walls.

Nobody thought Mr Daniel would become a pastor. He was a well known heavy drinker. I knew him when I was a small boy. He used to backslide after getting saved.

He reached a point of not providing for his family. He even ran away from his family. We thank God his wife was patient enough. God never leaves his people. Daniel Mukua made a decision and now he is a pastor. He has a church and many followers.
