Sports club Deventer of Netherlands has invited Kakamega High School Football Club (The Green Commandos) to the 30th International Frans Hemmelder Tournament in Deventer. The tournament will take place between 29th to 30th May 2015. The youngsters will have an opportunity to meet, play and interact with other youngsters from other countries and expose them to International Football Scouts out to t

ap raw talent. Due to limited time available for preparation, the principal Kakamega High School Mr. Oliver Minishi has mandated former players and alumni of Kakamega High School to coordinate all activities that regards to travel and accommodation. The secretariat is based at Railway Headquarters, Rahoso Court Nairobi. Friends of the green Commandos and the entire Kakamega High School Fraternity wish to congratulate Robert Bebeto Sichenje,17, the green commandos captain for being enlisted in the Barcelona Football Academy .
Sichenje, who joined the prestigious academy last month will be turning out for the clubs under 17 team. The form two student at Kakamega High school will be an inspiration and role model to upcoming soccer players not only at Kakamega High School, but the entire country.
we are proud of him. we wish him success and pray that his skills and talent will be nurtured to enable him graduate to a top class footballer who will eventually play for any top - flight club in the world.

Our trip to Netherlands did not materialize due to a hitch in visa processing. we have contacted all who contributed towards this noble cause and thank them for the response despite the short notice.However all is not lost as we have found a sponsor,the details of which shall be communicated to you in due course as we finalise our terms of engagement.
