#GamingForGood - Proudly Made In Africa

Welcome to Usiku Games, we’re not just building new games, we’re building an industry. Even though there are already 350 million smartphones in Africa (more than the USA, Mexico & Canada combined!) and the mobile game industry is over USD$100B per year, there has historically been almost no Africa originated or relevant gaming content. We’re trying to change all that. At Usiku Games (Swahili for “Night Games”) we believe that the incredible power and joy of game play is universal, and can/should be applied towards creating positive social impact in the world. So we are making games that make a difference. Whether that is through educational content, positive messaging, gender inclusive role models, or innovative economic development models - we’re experimenting and pioneering the use of games to make a difference. Most importantly though, our games are fun, and people love playing them. They are all proudly Made In Africa, by the our incredibly talented team in Kenya. All of our heroes, environments and themes have been specifically designed to be relevant to Africa’s growing market of smartphone gamers.
