🌍WASANII SANAA AT THE RESOURCE JUSTICE NETWORK AFRICA CONFERENCE 2026✊🏾

Wasanii Sanaa was proud to be part of the just-concluded Resource Justice Network Africa Conference 2026, which brought together Civil Society Organisation (CSO) leaders from 31 African countries under the theme:

✨ “Power Within: Strengthening Our Collective Action for a Just Transition.”

The conference provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences, building solidarity, strengthening partnerships, and reflecting on the power of collective action in advancing resource justice and a just transition across Africa.

At Wasanii Sanaa, we believe that meaningful change begins when communities find their voice, local movements are strengthened, and people come together to shape a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future.

Together, our voices are stronger. Together, our actions matter. Together, we can build a just future for all.** 🌱🤝🏾

🇰🇪🕊️ PEACEFUL ELECTIONS, OUR COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY! 🤝❤️

🎭Wasanii Sanaa, in collaboration with Voice of D**o and Afrinov, took part in a community outreach performance promoting peaceful elections in Kenya.

Through the power of art, creativity, and community engagement, we used performance as a platform to spread the message of peace, unity, tolerance, and responsible citizenship.

As Kenya continues to strengthen its democracy, we are reminded that our differences should never divide us. We may support different candidates, parties, or political ideologies, but we all share one country and one future. 🇰🇪

Let us reject violence, hate speech, tribalism, and political intolerance. Instead, let us embrace dialogue, respect diverse opinions, verify information before sharing it, and resolve our differences peacefully.

Your vote is your voice. Peace is our responsibility. Kenya is our home. 🕊️

Together, through art and community action, we can inspire a culture where every citizen exercises their democratic rights peacefully and every voice is respected.

A peaceful election begins with each one of us. Let us choose peace before, during, and after the elections.

🎭💜 Today Wasanii Sanaa was proud to join other partners in commemorating the International Day of the Girl Child 2026, convened by CFK Africa.

Guided by this year’s theme, “End Child Marriage and Invest in Girls’ Rights,” our performance was more than entertainment — it was a call for awareness, action, and change. 🎤🎭

Through the power of creative expression, we stand for a world where every girl can enjoy her childhood, access quality education, live free from violence and harmful practices, and have the freedom to shape her own future.

We believe that no girl should have to give up her dreams because of child marriage. Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, lead, create, and thrive.

Let us move beyond commemoration to commitment. Let us protect girls, invest in their potential, support their education, and create communities where their rights are respected and their dreams are possible.
Because a girl’s future should be shaped by her dreams, not determined by child marriage. 💜🌍
