I was privileged to be interviewed a few days ago in the Morning Live session on EBN TV. I was talking about Film Directing and Producing Christian Films.

In this candid conversation, I shared the challenges I've faced, the triumphs I've celebrated, and the unique aspects of navigating the Kenyan independent film industry.

OUR FIRST EVER SHORT FILM.
So about 6 years ago, we created our first-ever short film called NEMESIS. It has a pretty sick storyline that was kind of long, so we decided to break it up into a 3 Part Mini Web Series. We were so pumped up about it! ... Creating films was something totally new for us and we knew the road ahead would be tough for us - But we just made the leap of faith and did the first episode!
Maaaaaaaan! The process was plagued with tonnes of challenges. From the cast, sound equipment, getting venues, battery running out multiple times while on set, cast & crew feeling hungry, no money in our pockets (just relying on our family, church, and friends), having to multitask onset (The director was acting, drawing storyboards, handling the camera in most scenes, editing the footage, The writer was acting and assistant directing and editing, the assistant DOP was acting as well) - The list is endless!
