That is a defensive masterclass displayed by Arsenal. It feels more like City have dropped 2 points in this contest.

These days having a man less counts for little. A lot of teams do siege simulation where few defenders are continually attacked by more forwards.

The result is that defenders are equipped and become more adept at man and zonal marking.

I have enjoyed this game, purely from a tactical viewpoint.

Don't rule out the fact that I was positively neutral!

The year of the Lord 2023 brought me extremes. It had very high and exciting moments with new challenges where my skills were tested and brought to the full fore. The low moments were so low. At one time (in November) I shuttled between two hospitals, one admitting my father and the other where my father-in-law was fighting for his dear life. The latter lost the battle and was buried on 22/12/23. This is a year I could have given away for free!
