Sometimes, an artist doesn’t return to introduce us to a new version of themselves.
Sometimes, they return because they’re still learning who that person is.
With idk her yet, Brandy Maina turns inward; giving us an album that feels less like a performance and more like a conversation with the woman behind the music.

There’s vulnerability in these songs. There’s confusion, softness, desire, reflection and the quiet courage of becoming someone you haven’t fully met yet.
From the woman we thought we knew to the woman she is still discovering, this project feels like a reintroduction; but this time, to herself.
And maybe that’s why it resonates.
