Brush Tu Art Brush Tu Art (BTAC) is a Contemporary Artist Collective in Nairobi.

Established in mid 2013, the main objective of coming together was to harness the artistic potential of the members and utilize their prowess into delivering collaborative works of art on expansive surface areas. The name “Brush Tu”, which translates to “Brush Only” or “Just Brush, is derived from the artists’ tendency to opt for paint and brush as their preferred medium of expression.

Are you a photography enthusiast?
Embrace the power of visual storytelling in this one day photography workshop by EMMAUS KIMANI.

Come learn about the functionings of the camera, ‘the eye and the lens’ welcomes you to discover the camera’s design in relation to how our eyes function, exploring photography from analogue to digital.

In this workshop, we will also talk about framing perspectives and newer digital possibilities using the equipment available, books and magazines from archives as entry points to our curiosities.

Drypoint Etching is a printmaking technique that creates sharp lines with fuzzy, velvety edges using a diamond-pointed needle to incise lines directly into a printing plate(Perspex) It is then inked and cleaned, leaving ink only in the crevices that can be transferred on paper
