Fire Performances.

Fire performance is a group of performance arts or skills that involve the manipulation of fire.Fire performance typically involves equipment or other objects made with one or more wicks which are designed to sustain a large enough flame to create a visual effect.
Fire performance includes skills based on juggling,baton twirling and other forms of object manipulation.It also includes skills such as fire breathing , fire eating , and body burning; sometimes called fakir skills. Fire performance has various styles of performance including fire dancing; the use of fire as a finalé in an otherwise non-fire performance; and the use of fire skills as 'dangerous' stunts. Performances can be done as choreographed routines to music (this type being related to dance or rhythmic gymnastics ); as freestyle (performed to music or not) performances; or performed with vocal interaction with the audience. Some aspect of fire performance can be found in a wide variety of cultural traditions and rituals from around the world.
Any performance involving fire carries inherent danger and risks, and fire safety precautions should always be taken.

Hey people,today we discussing the Human Pyramids:
A human pyramid is an acrobatic formation of three or more people in which two or more people support a tier of higher people, who in turn may support other, higher tiers of people. People above the bottom tier may kneel or stand on the shoulders, backs or thighs of the people below them. Typically, the number of people in each tier is one greater than the tier immediately above it, resulting in a triangular structure reminiscent of the formation's namesake.
For practical reasons, lighter people are often positioned higher in the formation and stronger, heavier people are located closer to the base. Human pyramids are performed in various activities, including cheer leading and in circus acrobatics.

Are we failing our indigenous and African way of entertainment; ACROBATICS
Talk about a couple of years ago, actually decades when Acrobats were among those who provided entertainment needed.
Back then the President, athletes and visit of dignitaries, acrobats were among those who performed at the airports in accordance to welcome them. During public holidays and state occasions they had a platform to showcase their talents.
Gymnastics and acrobatics individuals are better appreciated in the western countries than at home, mainly because our acrobats perform more in the west than back here at home.
We Festars Circus Kenya have observed these and want to make sure we embrace our acrobats and have full employment opportunities in our country.
