From winning a university short film competition during the COVID era to becoming an actor, producer, director, and storyteller shaping impactful narratives her journey has been driven by passion, resilience, and purpose. 🎬✨
She began acting and creating her own content in 2019 at just 19 years old while still in university. What started as curiosity quickly evolved into a deep love for storytelling after winning as a top student filmmaker during a short film competition.
Her journey later led her from working as an extra on productions like Kina to landing her first major acting break in Volume after being recognized by director Tosh Gitonga.
One of her most transformative projects was Jiji, where she portrayed Archie/Achieng’ in a story centered around domestic violence, survival, and life in the ghetto. The experience not only shaped her as an actor, but also deepened her understanding of the realities many women face. Years later, she would find herself performing in Free Me by domestic violence survivor Queen Gathoni — a full-circle moment that reinforced the power of storytelling and representation.
Beyond acting, together with Vivian and Anne, she co-founded A Dear Diary Production — a creative company focused on documenting the behind-the-scenes stories people rarely get to see. From productions and brands to artists and events, the company has grown into a platform centered around storytelling, process, and creative documentation.
Currently, she is working on Blocked — a gripping vertical drama exploring online deception, digital intimacy, betrayal, and obsession across borders.
A storyteller committed to preserving both the seen and unseen parts of the creative journey. 📸🎥
