We are calling upon the CDF Committee and the area Member of Parliament, Hon. Kakuta Maimai, to provide full transparency on how bursary allocations are being disbursed in Kajiado East Constituency.
The public deserves clarity on:
Who is benefiting from the bursaries
The criteria being used in selection
The amount allocated per ward and institution
The overall accountability of the CDF bursary process
There are growing concerns and allegations from the community regarding possible irregularities in the bursary allocation process. These concerns must be taken seriously and independently reviewed to ensure fairness and protect public funds.
Education support is a right for all deserving students, not a privilege for a few.
We therefore call for:
Full transparency
Public accountability
And where necessary, an independent investigation into the bursary process
Kajiado East deserves fairness and integrity in all public resources.
