Every day 5 AM… I’m up. No alarm. No reason. Just wired that way from years of doing the same thing.

I’ve built my life inside the shop. It gave me purpose, discipline, a way to survive… but somewhere along the line, it became my whole world.

Truth is… I work hard, and not everyone understands the weight that comes with it. We all have struggles—mine just don’t always show on the surface.

Lately I’ve been thinking… it’s time to change some things. Not walking away from tattooing—never that. This is who I am. But I need to figure out a life outside the shop too.

Hard to do when you live where you work… but nothing changes if nothing changes.

So as I put my feet on the ground this morning… maybe it’s time to build something for me, not just the grind.
