She was drowning.
And nobody noticed…
Nobody, except her.

It was June 2022, at the World Championships in Budapest.
Anita Álvarez, an American artistic swimmer with Mexican roots, was performing a flawless routine.
But when her performance ended… she didn’t come up for air.

She had lost consciousness.
Her body floated for a few seconds, then began to sink.
Slowly. All the way to the bottom of the pool.

The audience didn’t notice. Neither did the judges.
Everyone was clapping.

But her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed.
She knew Anita—knew exactly how long it took her to surface.
She felt in her heart that something was wrong.

Without thinking twice, she dove in.
Fully dressed. Shoes and all.

She swam straight down, grabbed Anita by the waist,
and brought her back up.
She saved her life.

This story left me thinking…

Who knows you well enough to notice when you’re not okay, even if you’re still smiling?
Who would dive in for you without hesitation when you no longer have the strength to come up for air?

And more importantly…

Would you be that person for someone else?
Are you present enough in your loved ones’ lives to sense the moment they start to sink?
Or are you just another spectator, clapping, not realizing that inside, they’re fading?

In this life, we all need someone who doesn’t just see us—
but truly notices us.
Someone who knows when we’re about to give up,
and has the courage to jump in and save us.

Good morning Neighbours...
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Praise God,be blessed.

Heavenly Father, As we rise to the start of a new day, our hearts are filled with the peace that comes only from You. Without a doubt You are a loving and compassionate God. Your word assures us, that because of Your love for us, You are at work in all things in our lives, and for that we are grateful. We’re confident in knowing that it is You who arms us with strength, and keeps us safe in this troubled world we’re living in. Today, I want to pray for Kenya and all of my facebook friends and family. I ask that You would take away any fear or anxiety they may be experiencing, and replace it with Your calming peace. Bless all of Your people financially, physically, and above all Spiritually this week, as the Holy Spirit continues to lead our way. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Delete The Old Story..

_*Today's Scripture:*_
For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.
[Matthew 9:21, AMPC]

_*Today's Word:*_
In Mark 5, a lady had been sick for twelve years, spent all her money going to many doctors, but nothing helped. Her story was: “This sickness is permanent. There’s nothing else I can do.” But then she heard that Jesus was passing through her town. Despite how she felt, despite the circumstances and all she’d been told, she deleted her old story and started telling herself a new story. She said, “When I touch His garments, I’m going to be healed.” Faith began to rise in her heart. She kept saying to herself, “Healing is coming.” Pressing through the crowd, she touched His robe and was healed instantly.

It’s easy to let defeated thoughts, “can’t do it” thoughts, “it’s never going to work out” thoughts, play in your mind. You have to say, “No, I’m deleting this story. I will be the exception. I will get well. I will see my family restored. I will break this addiction. I will accomplish my dream.” Give God something to work with. You can’t have an old story and see the new things He wants to do.

_*Prayer For Today:*_
“Father, thank You that I have the power to delete the thoughts that keep me trapped in an old story of defeat. Thank You that my faith can open the way for You to do amazing things and write a new story. I am reaching out and touching You by faith today, knowing that victory will be mine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

_*Have a Victorious day.*_

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Everlasting Father King of Glory! Thank you for your mercy and kindness toward me. Lor, I am grateful for the grace to know you as my God. Thank you for yesterday and what you are set to do in my life today.
Lord God Almighty, thank you for appointing me to be a part of the body of Christ. Father, I pray that you will help me to be rooted, built up, and established in the body of Christ. Father, I pray for the grace to share my faith with others. I pray for the grace to pray for and help others to grow in their faith. I pray that I will not be a stumbling block in the way of those still growing in their faith. I pray that I will demonstrate my faith with my words, attitudes, and actions in the name of Jesus. Father, today I pray that your power will work in me to accomplish all you have for me. Give me this day Lord, my daily bread, and protect me from all evils in the name of Jesus.

Who Am I, Sovereign Lord?..

_*Today's Scripture:*_
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: “Who am I, Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?”
[2 Samuel 7:18, NIV]

_*Today's Word:*_
David was looking back over his life, thinking, “How did I get to where I am today? I was a shepherd, and now I’m a king. I’m respected. I have a lasting dynasty.” He was saying, “It could only be one thing—the Sovereign God.” Five times in the next few verses he refers to God as sovereign. He says, “Sovereign Lord, You have promised good things to me.” Can I tell you that the Sovereign Lord has good things for you. It’s not based on how well you perform, who likes you, what family you come from, or what the economy does.

There are blessings and breakthroughs that God has already written in your script. Instead of worrying, thinking that it’s never going to happen, trying to earn it, why don’t you do as David did and say, “Sovereign Lord, thank You for the good things You have in store for me. Thank You for choosing me before I could choose You. Thank you for not depending on my performance, my faith, or my circumstances, but blessing me because of Your goodness.”

_*Prayer For Today:*_
“Father, thank You for being on Your throne, for reigning as sovereign over my health, my finances, my family, and my circumstances. Thank You that You are my provider, my healer, my way maker, my deliverer. I declare that I am where I am today because of your sovereignty. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Today's Scripture

When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”
Luke 19:5, NLT

The Secret to a Changed Life

Zacchaeus was the despised chief tax collector in the region, known for cheating people and called a notorious sinner. Yet when Jesus could have spent time with any of the local religious leaders, He chose Zacchaeus, which they found disgusting. Religion says, “He’s too bad. He’s scum. Stay away.” Sometimes religion portrays an image of God where you can’t measure up, and it uses guilt and your feelings of unworthiness to try to get you to live right. But God says, “I gladly welcome Zacchaeus. What he has done does not cancel out My mercy.”

When Zacchaeus came to understand that God loved him unconditionally, even when he had made mistakes, he decided to change his ways and salvation came to him. Sometimes we think that if we tell people all they’re doing wrong and make them feel guilty, they’ll change. But condemnation doesn’t make them do better. It is when they hear about a God who shows mercy when they deserve judgment that they’ll change. The Scripture says, “It’s the goodness of God that leads to repentance.”

A Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that even though You know everything about me, You still invite Yourself to come to my house for dinner and bring the gift of salvation. Thank You that it’s not about my performance, about being good enough, about being worthy, but it’s about Your love. Welcome to my house. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
