African time isn’t chaos, it’s relational. It moves between urgency & ease depending on what (or who) we’re relating with. Airports need precision while friendships allow ease, so maybe realizing that we practice relational time everyday is one way to decolonize our relationship with time 🌍🤍

what if is accidentally theorizing the promise of meaning at the end of a linear timeline from inside its success? philosophy also doesn’t only live in books, it can also emerge from lived contradiction, popular culture, & the places we’re trained to dismiss. shout out to for the insights that helped me articulate this!
