Tomorrow kicks off the 22nd annual Mekatilili wa Menza Cultural Festival 🎉

From August 13–15 in Kilifi County, communities come together to honour Mijikenda traditions through music, dance, storytelling, food, and crafts.
We will be focusing on Cultural Heritage as a Catalyst for Unity and Dialogue, with events ranging from interfaith prayers and healing in Shakahola, to vibrant street carnivals, cultural awareness campaigns, and intergenerational learning.
It’s not just a festival — it’s living history, shared memory, and a reminder of the resilience that shapes the coast. 🌊✨

A night of pure magic under the stars✨🌙

The rhythm of the drums, the energy of the dance, and the power of community made this night unforgettable! .tendere and Bezi wa Mboko’s legendary Mwanzele performance set the perfect stage as we celebrated Mzee Mwarandu’s birthday in true Mijikenda spirit.

It was more than just a gathering—it was a moment in history, a reminder of the traditions that keep us connected.
