Despite the rain, the community in Kakuma Refugee Camp came together to celebrate International Mother’s Day in a special and powerful way.

The event featured amazing entertainment from Kakuma Sound Band, vibrant Nuer traditional dances, and an important SRH-R training session led by Coordinator Monica Jok from Resilience Action International.

Women, mothers, and young girls gathered to share joy, strength, and unity through music, culture, and education. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration possible and to all the mothers for their resilience and love.
