πŸ•ŠοΈ Farewell Baba A Legend Beyond Politics πŸ‡°πŸ‡ͺ

Today, Dala Infinite Empire joins the nation and the world in celebrating a man whose footsteps have shaped generations Right Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

From the streets of struggle to the halls of leadership, Baba taught us that courage, sacrifice, and hope can rewrite history. You carried the dreams of millions, spoke truth to power, and showed that leadership is not about titles, but about service and resilience.

As you take a bow from active politics, we say thank you.
Thank you for inspiring a generation to believe in justice.
Thank you for standing tall when the storm was strongest.
Thank you for teaching us that change begins with conviction.
πŸ•ŠοΈ

Your story will forever echo in our art, our theatre, and our voices.
Go well, Baba your legacy lives on in every young dreamer who dares to rise.

Telling stories that keep history alive.

Happy Birthday, Father!
From all of us at Dala Infinite Empire,
Today we raise our voices in harmony and gratitude to celebrate you a father, a guide, and a symbol of strength. Just like the stage lights that guide our steps, your wisdom lights our path. Your love, like our stories, has shaped characters, changed lives, and left lasting impressions.

As a youth theatre group striving to inspire and transform, we are constantly reminded of the role fathers play in scripting the story of resilience, sacrifice, and hope. Thank you for being part of that script.

May your days be filled with joy, your health be strong, and your legacy continue to impact generations , just like the best performances do.

Happy Birthday, Baba!
With love, purpose, and applause,

πŸ’” A woman has lost her unborn child. In Nyandarua. In the hands of those meant to protect her.

How many more lives must be lost before we say enough?

This isn't just tragedy ,it's neglect, brutality, and a betrayal of public trust. The police are losing the people' trust, and this miscarriage has only widened the gap.

We are tired. We are angry. And we are watching.

How Are People Tracked?

Telecommunication companies like Safaricom PLC have repeatedly stated that they do not share customer data with third parties, including the DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations), without following legal channels. So how then do people still get tracked?

Authorities may obtain court orders to compel telcos to hand over call data, location history, and communications.

In some cases, covert surveillance tools, including IMSI catchers or spyware, are reportedly used to monitor individuals.

Leaks, internal corruption, or unauthorized access within service providers or law enforcement agencies may also be a factor.

We urge and other service providers to be transparent and proactive in informing the public about when and why data is shared, and under what authority.

Our Call as Kisumu Artists

As artists, activists, and community storytellers, Dala Infinite Empire is deeply concerned about the climate of fear surrounding freedom of speech and expression. We call for:

1. Greater transparency and accountability in how citizen data is accessed and used by law enforcement agencies.

2. Immediate investigations into the unlawful tracing and abduction of youth across Kenya.

3. Public education campaigns to raise awareness about digital rights and the Data Protection Act.

4. Protection of artists, activists, and outspoken youth, so that speaking truth to power doesn’t become a death sentence.

Final Word

We cannot remain silent as our friends, our fans, and fellow youth vanish without answers. We demand a Kenya where digital footprints are protected, where expression is not a crime, and where justice is not optional.

Let it be known: Kisumu is watching. Kenya is awake. And the youth will not be silenced.

Statement on Youth Safety, Data Privacy & Police Surveillance
By Dala Infinite Empire , Kisumu Artists' Collective

As a youth driven creative collective deeply rooted in Kisumu, Dala Infinite Empire is increasingly alarmed by recent incidents involving the tracing, abduction, and killing of young people cases such as that of Ojwang remain vivid reminders of the harsh realities many youth face. It is both painful and unacceptable that in this day and age, exercising your freedom of expression a right enshrined in the Constitution can lead to your disappearance or death.

We ask tough but necessary questions. How are people being traced? Who is responsible? And more importantly, what systems allow for this kind of surveillance without due process?

Data Protection and the Right to Privacy

Kenya enacted the Data Protection Act in 2019 which provides a legal framework to protect personal data from misuse. The Act guarantees that:

Your personal data should not be collected, processed, or shared without your informed consent.

Any request for data by authorities must be done under strict legal procedures, such as through a court order or warrant.

Individuals have a right to know why their data is being accessed, by whom, and for what purpose.

This law is not just a formality; it is a shield for every Kenyan, especially the youth who are active online, vocal, and passionate about civic issues.
