A Beautiful Love Story.

A very poor man lived with his wife.

One day, his wife, who had very long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well and to be well-groomed.

The man felt very sorry and said no. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken.

She did not insist on her request.

The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife.

He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife.

He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut.

She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band.

Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love.

Moral:
To love is nothing, to be loved is something; but to love and to be loved by the one you love, that is EVERYTHING. Never take true love for granted.

You visit Kenyatta National Hospital along Ngong Road in Nairobi.

From 6th floor, you realize that no one talks about investment plans, politics, economy, nice homes, new cars, career goals, money market fund, good jobs or 10 year ambitions.

You will find a cancer patient at ward 5B, 8th floor who's dream is just to see next year. There is another one whose organ has failed at 7th floor and who's dream is just to walk again.

Another one at ward 3C has one wish. That is to only wake up and pray but had no energy to do so.

Then other one is at ward 2A and only wish is to reunite with his family and kids.

At Emergency wing, there is a lady who broke her spinal cord in an accident and will never stand again.

When you are in the lift on your way out, you meet 3 bodies on trolleys being taken to the mortuary downstairs.

Be grateful for what you have. Be thankful to God for everything.
Not everyone has what you have.
