We’ve been blessed for decades. We grew up on the storytelling of Charlie Chaplin, the raw energy of Beenie Man, the lyrical "World Government" of Vybz Kartel, and the formula of Alkaline. Those legends built the house we live in.

But if we are being 100% honest with ourselves... who is actually making music that makes sense for the world we live in right now?

There’s a lot of noise out there. A lot of repetitive beats and "disposable" lyrics. But then you listen to Ambitious.

It’s different. It’s not just a vibe; it’s a perspective. While everyone is chasing a viral 15-second clip, Chopz is actually writing for the people who still value substance, growth, and the authentic grit of the streets.

Original Conviction (March 2022): Jah Cure (Siccature Alcock) was convicted of attempted manslaughter and sentenced to six years in prison in the Netherlands for a stabbing incident in Amsterdam in October 2021. He was acquitted of the more severe charge of attempted murder.

The Appeal: The Dutch prosecutors appealed the court's decision, arguing that his actions should be considered attempted murder and are seeking a harsher penalty, specifically nine and a half years (9.5 years).

Awaiting Supreme Court Ruling: The last widely reported update indicates that the case is with the Supreme Court (Hoge Raad) of the Netherlands, and a final ruling on the appeal is expected in November 2025.
