She said I wasn't her type, and walked away
A dreamer, she called me, lost in my own haze
Whenever I'd speak of my visions, she'd dismiss
Hallucinations, she'd say, with a distant kiss

She couldn't see the beauty in the little things
Poetry in the whispers, sunsets that make my heart sing
Stars that twinkle like diamonds in the night
Moonlight that fills my soul with gentle delight

She left me, and I'm left to wonder why
Can't she see, these small things are my sky?
The world may be vast, but in these moments I find
A sense of peace, a love that's truly mine

I spent my nights writing in dim light
She complained I'd rather live in fiction's sight
She craved my attention, but I'd give it away
To characters on the page, in a world I'd create each day

She wanted us to dance under neon lights
Live for the moment, in the city's endless nights
But I'd rather watch the stars, in the quiet of the sky
My love language wasn't loud, it was whispers, sighs

Night clubs and crowds, they weren't my scene
Give me a sunset, a quiet dream
I'd rather lose myself in your eyes
Than get lost in the beat, of a crowded surprise

I let her go, and now I'm free
To chase the dreams that were meant to be
She wasn't my type, and I wasn't hers
But in the silence, my heart finds its verses

I'm a dreamer, lost in my own mind
Where the world is vast, and my thoughts are kind
No one understands my little world
But in its depths, my true self is unfurled

I'll follow my heart, through the dark and the light
And find my way, to a love that's just right

When Love Finds Me

When love finds me, and my heart beats free,
She'll shine like dawn, and I'll love her with glee.
In her eyes, my world will find its place,
Forever with her, my heart will smile.

Dear Mother, I promise you this too,
Accept her with love, and a heart that's true,
Let her feel at home, in our family's nest,
And welcome her warmth, with love that's best.

Dear Daddy, a gentle promise I make,
Open your heart, and let love's bridge be built to take,
No borders, no bounds, just love's pure light,
Welcome her home, with warmth and delight.

Dear Sisters, a plea from my heart to you,
When she joins our family, love her as we do,
In laughter and tears, in every test,
May our bond grow stronger, and love be best.

To our villa neighbors, living next door,
When she arrives, kindness we'd adore,
No gossip, just warmth, let her feel at home,
And welcome her with love that's truly shown.

Dear friends, if someday I find my way,
To a love that changes everything each day,
I'll cherish that love, and make it grow,
And though we'll be apart, know I'll always glow.

In the gentle silence, I find my every part
A fantasy world of dreams, where love resides
A refuge from life's storms, where my soul abides

When my time comes, I'll slip away without a whisper
You'll reach out to text, but I'll be beyond the screen
You'll crave my words, but my books will be out of print
You'll dial my number, but only silence will greet
You'll ache to see my smile, to feel my presence near
But I'll be nothing but dust and bones, decaying in the night
My body's gone, and all that's left is the memory of me
I'm waiting for that inevitable day, when I'll fade into eternity
