【The work release feature 6: 】
Oscar Oiwa + Shigeru Ban 「Ogijima Pavilion」
Publication of three overlapping paintings.
On October 14 (Sat.) and 15 (Sun.), the glass windows will be open for a limited time to view the three overlapping paintings.
There will be a total of four times: 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm.
Each session is 15 minutes long and open to the public.

【The work release feature 4: 】 3 days to go!

Ogijima, where old houses stand side by side on a mountain like a diaper. (Works will be open to the public on the three consecutive holidays starting October 7 and on October 14 and 15.)

You can also enjoy walking around the island with its stone walls and sloping streets, shrines praying for safe delivery, and the view of the Seto Inland Sea from the top of the hill.

【The work release feature 3: 】 8 days to go!
Works will be shown on Ogijima. (Three consecutive holidays starting October 7 and October 14 and 15)
Visitors can also enjoy outdoor artworks that match the Setouchi and island scenery, such as an Ark that seems to blend in with the sea and sky, colorful murals, and takotsubo (octopus-shaped pot) motifs.

【The work release feature 2: 】 ９ days to go!
Indoor artworks will be open to the public on Ogijima for a three-day weekend starting on Saturday, October 7.

In this issue, we will introduce "Akinorium".
This work is a renovation of an old private house.
On the first floor, mechanical “sound objects” cast shadows and emit noises as they move. On the second floor, multiple moving sound objects allow visitors to experience the sound effects in 3D.

Why not take a break in this space where you can feel the warmth of wood?

【The work release feature 1: 】 11 days to go!

The indoor works will be exhibited for the first time this year on Ogijima Island (40 minutes by ferry from Takamatsu Port), mainly during the three-day weekend starting on the 7th of October next month.

In this issue, we will introduce Ogijima Pavilion, a new work for the Setouchi International Art Festival 2022.

The Ogijima Pavilion uses paper tubes as construction materials. The large glass windows depict Ogijima's famous octopus, fish, and boats, matching the scenery of Ogijima's houses and harbor seen through the windows.

To get to this work, pass through the torii gate from Ogiko Port and walk up the steep slope for 5 minutes. You can take a break in this space.

How about making memories during the three-day weekend?
