6月27日より広島市現代美術館で開催される「コレクション展2026-I」に、原田裕規の《One Million Seeings》（2019年）が出品されます。
6月7日まで開催していた「コレクション展2025-III」に引き続き、同館のコレクション展への出品となります。
《One Million Seeings》（2019年）は、「行き場のない写真」を見届ける様子を24時間にわたって記録した映像作品で、KEN NAKAHASHIにて撮影されたシリーズ第1作目。
広島市現代美術館に最初に収蔵された原田の作品でもあります。

Yuki Harada's “One Million Seeings” (2019) will be included in "Collection Exhibition 2026-I," opening June 27 at the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art.
Following "Collection Exhibition 2025-III" (finished in June 7), Harada’s work continues its presence in the museum's collection exhibitions.
"One Million Seeings" (2019) is a video work documenting the artist's act of seeing photographs he collected that "have nowhere to go”—over the course of twenty-four hours. This is an attempt to create a retreat for images that were once disposed of. The first in the series, filmed at KEN NAKAHASHI, it featured the artist himself.
It is also the first work by Harada to be acquired by the museum.

原田裕規の作品が広島市現代美術館に収蔵

広島市現代美術館に原田裕規の作品《ホーム・ポート》（映像1点・平面2点）および《光庭》（1点）、計4点が新たに収蔵されました。
2024年11月—2025年2月に、個展を開催した同館にはすでに《One Million Seeings》が収蔵されており、原田の生年と同じ1989年に開館した同館のコレクションにおける原田の作品群は、これで5点となりました。
新収蔵作品のうち《ホーム・ポート》平面2点と映像は、4月14日の展示替えより同館コレクション展にて展示されます。

Yuki Harada's Works Acquired by Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art

Four works by Yuki Harada Acquired by Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art: “Home Port” (1 Video, 2 Print) and “Light Court” (1).
Harada held a solo exhibition at the museum from November 2024 to February 2025. The museum, which opened in 1989, the same year as Harada's birth, had previously acquired "One Million Seeings," bringing his holdings there to five works in total.
Three of the newly acquired works, the two “Home Port” works on paper and the video, will be on view from 14 April, as part of a partial rehang of the museum's collection presentation.

Created with computer graphics (CG), this work is an interior portrait of the light court in the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art. This work was produced for Harada’s solo exhibition at the museum.

Remembering, Masaharu Sato

Today, March 9th, marks the anniversary of Masaharu Sato's passing.
It has been seven years since he passed away.
In the ongoing "Matsumoto Architecture Art Festival," two of his significant works are currently on display: "I touch Dream #1" (1999), which represents his artistic starting point, and "HANDS," a series that traces various hand movements.
