残念ながら帰国予定のJAIだが、その前に’Sayonara Japan - Final Show’で東京に大きな残響を残していくだろう。
このイベントは１月３１日、午後８時〜１２時、渋谷の宮下町パーク内にあるOr Tokyoの2階で開催される。
JAIは世界的なドラマーで、彼のソウルバンド「Hannah Williams & the Affirmations」の曲「Late Night and Heartbreaks」がJay-zのヒット曲「4:44」でサンプリングされたことによって大きな注目を集めた。イギリスのオックスフォード出身で、ニューヨークを拠点に世界中の様々な分野のアーティストとのコラボレーションをしている。今回日本で大きなインスピレーションを得た彼は初となるソロアルバムの制作に取り掛かるそうだ。

３１日の’Sayonara Japan - Final Show’ではGrateful Fledのサポートにより、ライブボンゴセッションとDJセットを披露する。

from the 2nd floor of Or Tokyo in the Miyash*ta Park Complex of Shibuya.
JAI the world-class drummer first burst onto the world-stage after his soul band ‘Hannah Williams & the Affirmations’ had there song ‘Late Night and Heartbreaks’ heavily sampled by Jay-z for his hit ‘4:44’.
JAI hails from Oxford, England, is based in New York City, and travels the world to collaborate with artists of different disciplines. JAI was so inspired by Japan that he returned to write his 1st solo record.
