Columns on chasing a dream, surviving slow seasons, and the words that kept me going. Caravan, to me, means learning to make peace with life. I was so happy to see a huge ad of Kendall — someone whose style I really admire and aspire to — in Paris. When a compact city like Paris is filled with so many little shops, it makes walking around so much fun. I want to discover more cities like that around the world. Tokyo has areas like this too, but I don’t usually go out of my way just to wander there.
A city that makes you want to take a walk is such a nice thing.

こんなスタイルになれたらいいなな推しのケンダルの大きな広告をパリで見れて幸せだった。パリみたいな小さい街にたくさんのお店があると、散歩してて楽しいのでこういう街を世界でもっと見つけたいな〜。東京にもあるけどわざわざそこに行って散歩はしないのでね。散歩したくなる街っていいね。

Title HONEY: A coming-of-age romance manga that had been serialized for over 10 years has finally come to an end. A story about courage, salvation, and first love. 🍯🍋“Memories are on your side. Experience becomes strength. There is proof that you’ve overcome things before.”Reading about the protagonist growing into someone who could say those words felt dazzling, achingly blue, and unforgettable. It reminded me of Shuntaro Tanikawa’s words: “No matter how deeply we long for it, no matter how strongly we seek it, we can never truly grasp blue… Blue is a distant color.” Maybe that’s why the sky, the sea, and youth itself seem so vivid—because they are always just out of reach.

タイトル「ハニー」: 10年以上連載していた少女漫画が完結した。勇気と救いと、初恋の物語。🍯🍋「思い出は味方。経験は糧。乗り越えた事実がある」主人公がそう言えるようになるまでが、眩しくて、青くて、胸に残った。谷川俊太郎の「どんなに深く憧れ、どんなに強く求めても、青を手にすることはできない。〜略〜青は遠い色」という言葉を思い出す。届かないからこそ、空も海も、青春も、あんなに鮮やかなのかもしれない。

Quoted Structure is a series created with Dualflower. For A–Z, each letter comes from a word I love, and the initial is imagined as a building. For 0–9, each number is inspired by numbers found in music I love, also reimagined as architectural forms. Hope you all enjoy the letters and numbers.

Quoted Structure は Dualflower と制作しているシリーズです。A–Z は、好きな言葉をもとにイニシャルを建物のようなかたちに見立てて制作しています。0–9 は、好きな音楽に登場する数字から着想を得て、建築のイメージとして表現しています。文字と数字のかたちを楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。
