学生による油絵の振興を目的に一般社団法人日本学生油絵会が主催し、70年以上の歴史を重ねてきた公募展「学展」。幼児から美大生まで幅広い世代に作品発表の場を提供してきた同展が、節目となる第75回を迎え、今年も東京・六本木の国立新美術館で
開催される。展示期間は2025年8月7日（木）〜17日（日）。

特に注目すべきは、学展芸術大賞受賞作品が、フランス・パリで開催される「Salon des Beaux-Arts」へ出展する国際交流ログラム。若手アーティストにとって、パリでの発表という貴重な機会が与えられる。 さらに今年は、映像とリアル展示を融合させた新しい試み《他者を想像する四日間》を企画し、受賞者表彰式で上映する。

ストリートカルチャーと現代アートをつなぐキーパーソン・皆川伸一郎と、東アジア現代美術史に精通する沓名美和が審査団に加わり、より多角的な視点で審査が行われる。
