須藤信一郎さんの自由で色彩豊かなピアノと、斎藤里菜さんのしなやかで深みのあるベース。アルコもふんだんに織り交ぜながら、ときにジャズの即興性を、ときにタンゴの情熱と哀愁を鮮やかに描き出しました。
演奏だけでなく、タンゴの背景や魅力についての話にも「なるほど」と引き込まれ、二つの音楽が響き合う中で、
それぞれが持つ奥深い魅力を改めて感じることのできる、豊かな時間となりました。
Shinichiro Sudo’s free-spirited, richly colored piano and Rina Saito’s supple, deeply expressive bass came together beautifully. With plenty of arco playing woven into the performance, they vividly portrayed both the spontaneity of jazz and the passion and melancholy of tango.
Beyond the music itself, their insights into the history and appeal of tango were equally captivating. As these two musical worlds resonated with one another, the evening offered a wonderful opportunity to rediscover the unique depth and beauty of each tradition.
