2026-04-16: Jamming with a Pearl Jam at Festival Hall Osaka - finally saw a grunge legend god of the 90s last night. What an inspirational example of an awesome human being. Taking time to spread positive message and shake hands with many up front and even signing a shikishi square board (色紙) right in the middle of the performance. After more than 35yrs, dude is still rocking it and sounding better than ever. Will always remember how Vedder and Cobain transitioned my taste in music from metal to grunge during high school days.

2026-04-12: Outdoors spring weather kicking in (meaning cedar pollen in full force) - Mito basking in the sun and devouring another spectacular feast (grass fed Aussie beef and Norwegian sashimi grade salmon). Nice to see the Japanese maple tree buds coming in (especially the two smaller ones I planted out front exactly a year ago).
