“ajima”意为交错之处。AJIMAYA精选冲绳工艺品及杂货。

"아지마"는 교차하는 곳. 大阪梅田に隣接した町ながらも、戦前の木造建築や長屋が残る下町情緒あふれる街、中崎町。古民家を改装したカフェや美容室も多く建ち並ぶ、大阪を代表する人気のエリアです。
その中崎町にあるグリーンシティという名の建物2階( #202)に当店はございます。
外見からは全く見えませんが、建物エントランスのポストや通路、階段などに看板が数カ所ございますのでご注意ください。

今日は、陶と厨子甕 ひ窯さんのコップを。

心地良いって言葉はきっとこういうものの為にあるのかな、と。

それくらい手に取った際の持ち心地、口をつけた際の使い心地がいいコップです。
もちろん、佇まいも素晴らしい。

他にもいろいろ入荷いたしましたが、どの器も残りわずかとなりました。

今日は、山ひつじ舎陶器さんのスープカップを。

ぬくもりのある真っ白で、とても素敵な器です。

もちろん、いつもの愛らしいワンポイントがあることによって、さらに素敵さに磨きがかけられています。

動きが早い作品ですので、お好きなものを選べる今のうちは大変貴重です。

These are truly wonderful pieces with a warm, pure white texture.

今日も外の天気はよく分かりません。

店内に窓がないので全く様子が掴めないのですが、大抵、ノーゲストな時間が静かに続いているときは、外で雨が降っています。

建物の中の2階とはいえ、一応これでも（看板を出している）路面店なのですが……こればかりは仕方がないですね。

さて、画像の商品は昨日のプレートと同じ柄の碗（ワン）です。
こちらもいよいよ残りわずかとなってきましたので、気になっている方はどうぞお早めに。

Tuesday.
I can't really tell what the weather is like outside today either.

Since there are no windows inside the shop, I have no idea how it looks out there. But usually, when there's a long quiet stretch with no guests, it means it’s raining outside.
Even though we are on the 2nd floor of the building, we are technically a street-level-oriented shop, so I guess it can't be helped.

Anyway, the item in the photo is a bowl (wan) featuring the same pattern as yesterday's plate.
We are down to the last few pieces, so please grab yours soon if you're interested.

昨日はお天気のすぐれない一日となり、急遽お休みをいただき申し訳ございませんでした。

今日の大阪は曇り空。
時間帯によっては天気が崩れるかもしれませんが、まあ、梅雨なのでこればかりは仕方がありませんね。ただ、今年の梅雨はなんだか短そうな気もしています。

ジメジメした空気は続きますが、お出かけの際は足元にお気をつけて。

どんよりした空を吹き飛ばすような、温かい手仕事の器たちと一緒に、本日も12時よりお待ちしております。

はし置きと一言で言ってしまえばそれまでですが、ひとつひとつのクオリティが凄まじく高く、まるで小さなオブジェ（置き物）のようです。

もちろん食卓ではし置きとして使うのも格好いいですし、お気に入りの場所にちょこんと飾って眺めるのもよし。

今日から6月です。本当に早いですね。
今月が終わると、今年も半分が終わるのだと思うと驚いてしまいます。

水面下で進めている店舗の移転計画、なかなか思うように進まず、もどかしい日々が続いています。今月こそ、何か良いお知らせができるといいなと願うばかりです。

そんな中でも、店頭には新しい作品たちが続々と並んでいます。
今の場所の都合上、なかなかSNSでタイムリーに新作をお披露目できず心苦しいのですが、実はご紹介する前に売り切れてしまいそうな勢いのものも……。

今だけの出会いがたくさん詰まっていますので、ぜひ初夏のAJIMAYAへ、宝探しのような気持ちで遊びにいらしてください。

June starts today. Time flies so fast! It's surprising to think that half the year will be over by the end of this month.

Regarding our relocation plans behind the scenes, things haven't been moving as smoothly as hoped, which has been quite frustrating. I truly hope I can share some good news with you sometime this month.

Despite this, beautiful new arrivals are filling our shelves. Due to the limitations of our current space, it’s been difficult to showcase them on SNS in a timely manner—and honestly, some pieces might even sell out before I get a chance to post them.

The shop is currently filled with many special, limited finds. Please stop by AJIMAYA this early summer as if you're on a little treasure hunt.

今日は沖縄発のステーショナリーブランド、rubodan（ルボダン）を。

アーティストの儀間朝龍さんが考案した、廃段ボールから新しい紙を生み出す「SIMPLE PAPER MADE」。この独自の製法を使い、沖縄県内の福祉作業所の方々の手によって一つひとつ丁寧に作られています。

「ゴミから雇用を」というビジョンのもと、ブルーシールの廃段ボールが、手作業を通じて格好いいステッカーやノートに生まれ変わりました。

切り取る場所によって全て表情が違う、世界にひとつの風合いです。ぜひ店頭で手に取ってみてください。

Today, featuring rubodan, a stationery brand from Okinawa.

Using "SIMPLE PAPER MADE"—a unique method developed by artist Tomotatsu Gima to transform discarded cardboard into fresh paper—each item is carefully handcrafted at local welfare workshops in Okinawa.

Under the vision of "creating employment from waste," discarded Blue Seal cardboard boxes are reborn into stylish stickers and notebooks.

Since they are cut by hand, every single piece features a completely unique layout. Please come and feel the texture in person.
