Meet Yosh*teru "Yoshi" Ohtani - He's the GRAND MASTER and creator of EN-PA Tokyo.

Since 2002, Yoshi has been very active as a space designer, designing for various expositions, shopping centers, and culture centers, not only in Japan but also in other countries.

The opening of the Schulz Museum inspired him to start creating his own art. He first met Charles M. Schulz in 1993, and Schulz expressed his interest in Yoshi's artworks.

In 2003, he began to create an original art form called GLYPHART. Using Japanese ink brush painting, Yoshi combined PEANUTS (Snoopy) characters with Japanese characters (Kanji) and Japanese words.

EN-PA Tokyo is a hands-on learning site of GLYPHART in Akasaka Tokyo and at EN-PA Tokyo, we aim to share the idea of EN-PA globally.

We hope you can join us!

Starting with the circle, people are connected by fate

Since 2002 YOSHI has been very active as a space designer, designing for various exposition, shopping centers, and culture centers, not only in Japan, but also in other countries. He first met Mr. Charles M Schulz in 1993 and Mr. Schulz had shown great interest in Yoshi’ s art. Since then, the friendship between two artists developed beyond the boundary of two different countries and languages. Together, they accomplished SNOOPY TWON in JAPAN. After 2003, He started creating his original art called GLYPHART, using Japanese ink brush painting and combined Peanuts characters with Japanese Kanji.
