Clarification on ranking adjustments:
Following final verification in accordance with wildcard rules (including timing requirements), ranking adjustments were applied to ensure fairness and consistency.
Two artists were affected by overtime penalties:
• Remix 🇿🇦 received a 14-rank penalty
• Aaron 🇧🇷 received a 2-rank penalty
These adjustments are applied within the same ranking system, meaning they are not calculated independently. When an artist moves down in ranking, all artists positioned between the original and new placement shift accordingly.
In practice:
Remix moved from 11th to 25th place. As a result, all artists originally ranked between 12th and 25th moved up by one position.
Aaron was originally ranked 20th. Due to Remix’s adjustment, he first moved up to 19th. After applying his own 2-rank penalty, he moved down to 21st.
This step-by-step process ensures that all placements remain consistent and aligned within a single ranking structure.
The final published results reflect these verified adjustments.

Additional note on rankings:
The official judging process for this category was conducted as a Top 30 ranking.
Given the high number of wildcard submissions and the level of detail required to judge each entry fairly, this format allows the judges to maintain and ensure a fair and consistent evaluation.
The extended Top 50 list is based on artists who were consistently mentioned across the judging process. It serves as an additional overview of standout wildcard submissions beyond the official Top 30.
We received again a very high volume of submissions this year. Reviewing each wildcard with the attention it deserves requires significant time, focus, and responsibility from the judges. We value the commitment and expertise of every judge for their hard work.
For those who did not make the final list, we strongly encourage you to check out the pre-judging sessions with Amit 🇺🇸 and DEN 🇨🇦 where every wildcard was reviewed and feedback was provided live.

To every single artist who submitted a wildcard, thank you.
This year once again showed an incredible level across the board. Musicality, originality, and technical ex*****on continue to evolve, redefining the solo category.
With a very competitive field, making the Top 30 is a strong achievement.
Whether you placed in the Top 30 or not, your contribution matters. Every wildcard helps push the culture forward and shape the scene’s future.
We understand that expectations can be high, and we truly appreciate the passion and dedication behind every submission.
We remain committed to improving our processes and to providing a fair and transparent environment for all artists!!
To support this, we will be reaching out with a feedback survey to wildcard participants, wildcard winners, and judges. Your perspective is important to us, and we want to continue building and improving this process together. You are also always welcome to reach out to us directly via email with constructive feedback.
We are a small team working to deliver results as quickly and fairly as possible. With a high volume of submissions and many factors to consider, mistakes can happen, and when they do we take them seriously.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration caused in the process and we are fully committed to learning from this and doing better moving forward.
GBB is more than a competition.
