便利堂ではコロタイプをひとりでも多くの方に学び、 理解を深めていただきたいという思いから、コロタイプ アカデミーを開講しています。初心者向けの体験コースか ら、深く学ぶための専門レベルまで、それぞれの方の興味に 合わせて経験豊かな講師が指導します。また、各コースでは 便利堂が独自に研究を進める、環境にも人体にも優しい 感光乳剤を用いた版「コロタイプティシュー」を使用し ます。未来へ繋がる新しい技術を習得しながら、コロタイプの 面白さを安心して体験いただけます。
At Benrido, the Collotype Academy offers individuals the chance to learn this unique process. The classes, taught by the master printer of the studio, range from courses for beginners to specialised lessons. For each of the courses, the newly developed printing plate called ‘Collotype Tissue’ will be used with an emulsion that is safe for both the environment and the human body. Whilst mastering new technologies to safeguard the future, the Academy offers a unique experience to engage with this 19th- century printing technique.
