Summer is almost here, which means it's time for another Art & Nature Retreat — and I'd love to have you join me.
Retreat #7 is Saturday, July 11 at my home studio in Kamogawa. Same beautiful format as always: a morning drawing session, lunch at Gombei (their chikko is still the most surprising thing you'll eat this year), a walk up toward Oyama-ji temple, and an afternoon session to pull everything together. All art materials included. Cats optional but probable.

✨ New: a bus stop practically at my door!
For those of you coming from Tokyo, there's exciting news. The Akushi-Go (アクシー号) bus route now stops at the Nagasa District Community Center — a short car transfer away from the studio (I will pick you up).
Dep. Tokyo Yaesu Bus Center (Gate B11) at 8:10 am
Arr. Nagasa Community Center at 9:49 am
Return bus departs 4:37 pm, arriving Tokyo by 6:16 pm
Fare: 2,500 yen each way
That's a door-to-door retreat day for 10,000 yen total (bus + ticket), no car, no stress, no missing the last train back and an extra hour for a more relaxed schedule. I love this for us.
