『森のすみか』
自然豊かな森の環境と建築との境界を考えた住宅である。それは森の地表を覆っている要素の中に生物がすみかを生成しているように、分節することのできない環境という総体で捉えることである。環境と住処を包含したひとつながりの空間を考え、床と壁の不連続な構成によって建築的な要素としては分断されているが、環境という総体で捉えた場合、分節されることのない建築/環境をつないでいくエレメントとなりえる。
内外部の空間領域が規定されない多様な-森のすみか-である。
『nest』
This residence explores the boundary between the natural forest environment and architecture. It views the environment as an indivisible whole—much like how living organisms create their habitats within the elements covering the forest floor. By conceiving a continuous space that encompasses both the environment and the dwelling, the discontinuous composition of the floors and walls creates architectural divisions. However, when viewed as part of the environment as a whole, these elements serve to connect the architecture and the environment into a seamless whole.
It is a diverse “forest dwelling” where the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces are not defined.
