Ritsuki Fujisaki Galleryは、10/31~11/3まで京都の名勝・渉成園で開催されるartKYOTO 2024にTAV Galleryと共同出展いたします。弊ギャラリーからの出展は、Bradford Kessler , Taka Kono , YAMAMOTO Kazuma の3名。
TAV Galleryからの出展はMACHIDA Taichi .machida ,SAKAZUME Kotaro の2名となります。

Ritsuki Fujisaki Gallery is thrilled to announce "John", solo show by, nyc based artist, Bradford Kessler.
Opening party with Bradford starts from 6pm to 8pm on 21st of September, Saturday.

Bradford Kessler (b. 1982; High Plains, Kansas) lives and works in New York. Kessler has had solo exhibitions at ASHES/ASHES, Los Angeles and New York; Interstate Projects, Brooklyn; 15 Orient, Brooklyn; Valentin, Paris; Disneyland Paris, Perth; and 247365, New York. His work has been included in group exhibitions at: Adler Beatty, New York, False Flag, Queens; Springsteen, Baltimore; MonChéri, Brussels; and Witte de With, Rotterdam. His work has been reviewed in Art in America, Modern Painters, Mousse, CURA, Flash Art, Dis, Vulture, The NY Post, and The New York Times. He received his BFA from The University of Kansas and an MFA from The School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Click Ten Gallery is honored to present the solo exhibition “Stuntmen” by the Japanese artist Shohei Yamamoto.

As an artist born in the 1990s, Shohei Yamamoto confronts an unprecedented volume of historical image resources. His artistic practice has long transcended the realms of art history or image history, focusing instead on the history of image media, and thus exploring "intermediationality," that is, the interactive relationship between modern media.

With this exhibition, the artist Shohei Yamamoto takes “stuntmen” as a starting point to engage his creative process spanning multiple production departments and processes: digital darkroom, industrial printing, manual transfer, and coating process. Through these new techniques and methods, and by forging new connections between them, the artist explores topics directly related to painting, such as the history of cultural exchange and the nature of visual authenticity. The exhibition will focus on his two most used painting approaches: repetition and simulation. In the context of intermediationality, the artist undertakes a profound critique and reflection on the process of painting.

lost& found / everything

Lost and found" traditionally refers to a space for storing misplaced items until they can be reclaimed by their owners. The exhibition draws inspiration from the concept of lost property, exploring themes of retrieval and possession.
At the far end of the gallery, a lamp casts light on a puddle scattered with coins, creating an image reminiscent of coins tossed into a wishing well. Adjacent to this, a triptych adorned with petroglyphs in deep, dark petroleum colors serves as a mystical map. Words crafted from alloys, embedded into the panel, trace the spatial semantics of humanity's journey across time and space. Together, the soil beneath the triptych and its monolithic presence evoke the atmosphere of a cave. This scene is framed by white curtains that blend elements of ancient human habitats with modern domestic spaces. The subdued lighting intertwines with these domestic elements, crafting a setting that feels both primitive and intensely personal.
The narrative of the exhibition recalls "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E.L. Konigsburg, where siblings Claudia and Jamie survive inside the Metropolitan Museum by collecting coins from a fountain. This exhibit's arrangement captures the exhilarating yet perilous journey of acquisition and loss, dictated by fate. It portrays a paradoxical blend of harmony and comedy, underlying the fundamental aspects of human life.

Ritsuki Fujisaki Galleryでは、4月13日から5月12日までTaka Kono( )による弊ギャラリーとしては2度目となる個展、”lost & found / everything”を開催いたします。
Taka Konoは、1994年生まれ、2017年にパーソンズ・スクール・オブ・デザイン美術科を卒業し、アーティスト・ラン・スペース「mcg21xoxo」を主催。
主な展示として、specter (Hunsand Gallery, Hangzhou, China, 2024) down4u (Ritsuki Fujisaki Gallery, Tokyo, Japan, 2022), GARDEN OF GODS (SXSW x ultrastudio, Houston, USA, 2022), only only makes sense if there’s nothing else (darkZone, New Jersey, USA, 2021).
 
“lost & found”とは、置き忘れた物を持ち主が取り戻すまで保管するスペースのことを指す。この展覧会では、遺失物の概念からインスピレーションを得て、回収と所有というテーマを探求している。

ギャラリーの一番奥では、ランプがコインを散らした水たまりに光を当て、井戸に投げ込まれたコインを連想させるイメージを作り出している。その隣には、深く濃い石油色のペトログリフで飾られたトリプティクがあり、神秘的な地図の役割を果たしている。パネルに埋め込まれた合金で作られた言葉は、時空を超えた人類の旅の空間的意味をなぞる。トリプティクの下に敷かれた土とその一枚岩の存在感が相まって、洞窟の雰囲気を醸し出している。この光景は、古代の人類の居住空間と現代の家庭空間の要素を融合させた白いカーテンで縁取られている。控えめな照明がこれらの家庭的な要素と絡み合い、原始的でありながら強烈に個人的な雰囲気を醸し出す。

E.L.コニグスバーグの『From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler』の中では、2人の家出した子供、クラウディアとジェイミーは、毎晩メトロポリタン美術館の隣にある噴水からコインを取り、それを持って館内で生き延び、冒険をする様子が描かれ、この展示の物語と交差する。
この展示の配置は、運命に左右される、獲得と喪失の爽快でありながら危険な旅をとらえている。人間生活の根底にある調和と喜劇の逆説的な融合を描いている。
