“When the world grows heavy, I find myself drawn to the small and delicate. Flowers, leaves, and fragments of gardens begin to hold my attention. In these monotype oil prints I return to the houses I lived in as a child and the quiet plant life that surrounded them. Memory is never exact. Where it fails, vegetation fills the space, growing over absence and rebuilding the landscape of childhood.” said Rossing.

世界が重苦しくなると、私は小さくて繊細な対象へと意識を向けてしまう。花や葉、庭の断片が、私の関心を引いてくる。本シリーズは、モノタイプ（単刷り版画、油彩）を用いて、子供の頃に暮らした家々とそれを取り囲む静かな植物の生活に戻ります。記憶は決して正確ではない。記憶が失われた場所を植物が埋め尽くし、その不在に生い茂る。そして、子どもの頃の風景を再構築していく。(ステートメントより)
