Wapi - Pendulum EP is out now, link in bio
Hailing from Istanbul, with a formative stint in Berlin, and now splitting his time between Vienna and Istanbul, producer Wapi presents “Pendulum”, his new three-track EP arriving on the imprint.
Pendulum unfolds as a journey through shifting psychological states, using the language of nightlife as a metaphor for cycles of agency, surrender, and release.
Across all three tracks, Wapi blends driving percussion, hypnotic grooves, swirling synths, and manipulated vocal fragments into a cinematic electronic record that continually shifts between introspection and intensity, never settling in one place for long.
To accompany the release, a music video is out for “Wear That Smile”, a haunting attempt to capture the moment of feverish fluid isolation, many thanks to everyone who contributed and supported in making this EP and video concepts come to life.
