Friends of Jordan Festivals

Friends of Jordan Festivals Promoting the cultural, visual and performing arts in Jordan Friends of Jordan Festivals new logo and branding reflects this successful evolution.

Friends of Jordan Festivals was established in March 2010 by a group of individuals passionate about the arts, music and their country, Jordan. The binding ambition was to place Jordan as a premier cultural destination with its
unique setting of open air musical and theater performances amidst its rich archeological heritage and World Heritage sites. Well placed between Europe and Asia, FJF in Jor

dan aspires to uphold and promote its own rich traditions in music and theatre, alongside internationally acclaimed performers, attracting visitors from all over the world. FJF events have not merely increased tourism to Jordan, but encouraged a variety of
business partnerships worldwide, boosting Jordan’s own economy and developing its service sectors. The new symbol is a plant motif found in Islamic architecture, and lifted from Amman’s Umayyad Palaces found in Jordan. The colours of blue and grey, stable and strong, represent a determination to see FJF ambitions
realized, and in bringing people together with a common love of culture, music and the performing arts. FJF encapsulates His Majesty King Abdullah’s vision of Jordan as a tourist and economic destination with its world class arts entertainment and renown
warm welcome to all visitors to the Kingdom.
