تم تمديد معرض تحولات [رقمية] II “استعادة المستقبل” في المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة (مبنى 1 - الطابقين الارضي والاول) حتى يوم الخميس 1 آب 2024.

يقدم هذا المعرض المشاريع الإبداعية التي قام بتطويرها مقيمو برنامج تحولات [رقمية] II ضمن برنامج الاقامات في منصة مصنع، وذلك في مجالات الفنون البصرية، والصوتية والموسيقية، والأدائية، وفن الأماكن العامة. ويتضمن المعرض أيضًا خمسة أعمال فنية لمرشدي وموجهي البرنامج من الأردن والمملكة المتحدة.

*تحولات [رقمية] هو برنامج من تنظيم المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة ضمن برنامج الإقامات الفنية في منصة مصنع، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة FutureEverything في المملكة المتحدة ومجموعة ميتافور الفنية في الأردن، وبتمويل من المجلس الثقافي البريطاني.

The [Digital] Transmissions II exhibition “Reclaiming the Future” at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts has been extended until 1 August 2024 (Building 1 - Ground and 1st floor).

As part of Factory’s art residency program, this exhibition presents the art projects developed by the [Digital] Transmission II program residents across the visual, sound, performance, and public arts. The show also features artworks by the program mentors and advisors from Jordan and the UK.

*[Digital] Transmissions is organized through the art residency program by Factory / The Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, in collaboration with FutureEverything (UK) and MetaFour Artist Collective, and funded by the British Council in Jordan.

لقطات من افتتاح الحدث والمعرض الفني لتحولات [رقمية] II: “استعادة المستقبل”، ضمن برامج منصة مصنع في المتحف الوطني الاردني للفنون الجميلة يوم الاثنين الماضي 24 حزيران 2024، ولقاء التعارف وتبادل المعرفة الذي ضم المشاركين في البرنامج، مع عدد من المؤثرين في المشهد الثقافي والتكنولوجي في الاردن.

سعدنا بما تم إنتاجه هذا العام في البرنامج بالتعاون والتنظيم المشترك مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني ومؤسسة FutureEverything في المملكة المتحدة ومجموعة ميتافور الفنية في الاردن.

الفنانون المشاركون: تمارى العجلوني - عكّـا حمــدان - ميـار كباجه - أنــس أبـو نحلة - يافا درويـش - نيـروز العجلوني - عــلي العمـري - ليـلى حاجبـي - محمـد قطان - مصطفى الشلبي.

Highlights from the opening of [Digital] Transmissions II: “RECLAIMING THE FUTURE” exhibition and public showcasing event, as part of Factory platform at the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts last Monday 24 June 2024, and the networking and exchange event that gathered the organizers and participants of the program with key actors from tech, art and cultural sectors in Jordan.

We are very pleased by the successes achieved this year in the program in collaboration with the British Council Jordan, FutureEverything (UK), and MetaFour Artist Collective in Jordan.

Participating artists: Tamara Alajlouney - Akka Hamdan - Mayar Kabajah - Anas AbuNahleh - Yafa Darweesh - Nairuz Ajlouni - Ali Al Omari - Laila Hajbi - Mohammad Qattan - Mustafa Al Shalabi.

حدث فني يستمر لمدة ثلاثة أيام ومعرض ختامي تتويجا للنسخة الثانية من تحولات [رقمية] ضمن برنامج الإقامات الفنية من منصة مصنع - المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة.

يقدم هذا الحدث والمعرض الفني مشاريع إبداعية قام بتطويرها مقيمو برنامج تحولات [رقمية] II في مجالات الفنون البصرية، والصوتية والموسيقية، والأدائية، وفن الأماكن العامة. سيتضمن المعرض أيضًا خمسة أعمال فنية لمرشدي البرنامج من الأردن والمملكة المتحدة، وعمل لمجموعة ميتافور الفنية، بالإضافة إلى عروض فنية يقدمها عدد من الفنانين المستضافين يوم الافتتاح.

تمحورت نسخة هذا العام من برنامج تحولات [رقمية] حول موضوع نزع الاستعمار من وجهة نظر مستقبلية، وتعاملت بشكل استباقي مع الأسئلة المتعلقة باستخدامات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتداعياته الأخلاقية على الوعي الذاتي والفاعلية البشرية. فان موضوعات الهوية والتراث والتحرر تشكل المفاهيم الأساسية التي يسكتشفها الفنانون في هذه النسخة من البرنامج من خلال أعمالهم الفنية الرقمية.

[Digital] Transmission II: RECLAIMING THE FUTURE
A three-day public showcasing event and exhibition in culmination of the [Digital] Transmissions II, artist residency program by Factory / the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts.

The event and accompanying art exhibition will present digital art projects developed by the program participants across visual, sound, performance, and public arts. The showcase will also feature artworks by five program mentors from Jordan and the UK, the MetaFour Artist Collective, as well as guest contributions from local musicians and performance artists.

This year’s edition of the [Digital] Transmissions annual program focused on the theme of decolonialism, approached from a futuristic standpoint, prospectively engaging with questions concerning applications and ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence on human consciousness, subjectivity, and agency. Questions surrounding identity, heritage, and emancipation are among the overarching notions that the artists of this edition explore in their digital artworks.

نقدم لكم مجموعة ميتافور الفنية، أحدث إضافة لنا في الفريق التنظيمي لبرنامج تحولات [رقمية] 2 والذي ينظمه المتحف الوطني الأردني للفنون الجميلة!

بعد مشاركتهم في النسخة الأولى من البرنامج العام الماضي قام كل من آية أبو غزالة وديانا الحباشنة وصلاح الدين القواسمي وزيد أبو عيسى بتأسيس مجموعة فنية والدخول إلى عالم إدارة وإنتاج المشاريع الفنية والثقافية.

على الرغم من تكوين مجموعتهم حديثا، إلا أن كل عضو يقدم منظورا فنيا فريدا مع خلفيات تشمل الرسم والتصميم والبحث والفن الرقمي، في مزيج متناغم من التنوع والإبداع.

خلال الأشهر الماضية، قام الفريق بتقديم وجهات نظر جديدة للمقيمين في البرنامج وضخ طاقة جديدة في مساعي البرنامج الإبداعية.

Introducing MetaFour, our latest addition to the organizing partners of the [Digital] Transmissions II program, organized by the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts!

Following their participation in the first edition of the program, Aya Abu Ghazaleh, Diana Habashneh, SalahEddin AlQawasmi, and Zaid Abueisa joined forces, establishing an artist collective and venturing into cultural management and artistic production.

Despite their recent formation, MetaFour exudes creativity and enthusiasm. Each member brings a unique artistic perspective and skill set, putting together a diverse range of creativity. With backgrounds encompassing painting, design, research, and digital art, their work is a harmonious blend of diversity.

During the past months, MetaFour brought fresh perspectives to our residents and injected new energy into the creative endeavors of the program.

Stay tuned for the upcoming event where they co-curate the final exhibition, lead discussions, and offer workshops aimed at fostering creativity and collaboration within the artistic community.

شهدت الاشهر الثلاث الاخيرة في برنامج "تحولات [رقمية] 2" رحلة غنية بالمعرفة لمقيمي البرنامج, حيث شاركوا في سلسلة من الجلسات الارشادية الفردية عبر الانترنت مع مدربيهم الخبراء من الاردن والمملكة المتحدة في مجالات الفنون الرقمية, وتعاونوا بشكل وثيق مع بعضهم البعض لتطوير مشاريعهم وتنمية توجهاتهم الفنية.

Glimpses from the technical workshop “Writing Skills for Artists” with curator Irini Papadimitriou that took place on Saturday 16/3/2024, where the residents of “[Digital] Transmissions 2” learned how to craft compelling stories and statements about their artworks, and explored effective strategies for expressing their artistic visions by looking at practical writing tips and examples of AI uses in the field by regional and international artists.
