sweaters and ramen. name a better duo. anyway, seb is here to start off your friday vibe with them sassy ladies that now seem to evolved into culty ramen peoples. and why not. there's a flying spaghetti monster that's a legit religion, so why not introduce ramenism, where we praise ramen bowls, praise everyone who eats it, everyone who don't, doesn't matter really, fck it, praise everyone, who's lovin, who's caring, who's good and vibing. guess my friday vibeday is already ongoing. go have yours. love, seb

with the ongoing floods in germany, belgium, france and the netherlands (even in the US because of elsa), this illustration couldn't be more accurate. years back, when i first made this, it was already some kind of statement of the climate change we're facing. still, a little far-fetched. while floods are a recurring thing, all over the world, this heavy rain and storms due to higher temperatures might be something we should be aware of. is this because of climate change? i don't know. i drool while i draw so what do i know. but not long ago we had extreme drought. we experienced uncommon things. records being broken. you tell me.

i always had trouble explaining this piece, so i just said, well, umbrellas floating on water is kinda ironic. surrounded by the very thing it should've shield you from. now i'm sure no explanation is needed anymore. hopefully we soon can stop saying nothing's changing and turn the tide on time. be safe. hang on. love, seb

“and that really made me realize about how they- they’re just sort of drifting to the other side. they had one foot here and one foot somewhere else. [...] and yet, for some reason, it doesn’t bother them. you know? and i- you know, you’re right. all i know is what i see. and all i know is that somewhere along the line you’re not gonna be afraid anymore. somewhere in that- those last hours it’s gonna go away.”

day nine. not quite done but thought i share the progress nonetheless. i’ve been testing out new brushes that resembles the real deal, because in the end these are just studies for the canvases i still barely touched.

coming from working a lot with ink, painting without line-art is a bitch. bothered me i couldn’t make it work. now i think it gives off a popart vibe which i totally dig.

what do you think? to line-art or not to line-art?

day two of inktober. a quick sketch with some colouring. turned out pretty sassy. and scary. you don’t want to steal a string of ramen from that bowl. i’ll be popping out more of these frightening gals in the upcoming days, because, if you didn’t notice already, it’s spooky month as well. y’all be good. love, seb

haven't been updating my insta lately, but there's a lot going on. prepping myself to painting these days. with no knowledge whatsoever it's a slow drag tho. decided to follow a class of artist (check it out if you didn't already know him). learned a lot and think i can pop out some paintings very soon. i'll be sketching sassy gals mainly. i work best when i'm scared. hope y'all are good and healthy. love, seb.

i'm in the middle of a transition, going from paper to canvas. prepping everything, as well as writing down the concepts of a future streetwear brand, has taken a lot of time. hence the silence. but it finally begins to pay off. must say, i was a little scared to use brushes. still am. but yolo. wish me luck. love, seb
