Lately, I’ve been challenging myself to create more large-scale artworks, and this piece has been teaching me far more than finger-painting techniques.
It has been teaching me patience, surrender, and the importance of trusting each moment. Even the quiet ones. The moments of stepping back, resting, sitting across the room, and simply observing the painting without feeling the need to touch it.
In this season of reflection, I’m realizing how much I’ve grown in my commitment to finishing what I start.
Growth looks different every day. Some days, it looks like showing up. Some days, it looks like resting. And sometimes, it looks like trusting that the work is unfolding exactly as it should.
Purpose is always present, inviting us to make use of the gifts placed within us.
