ROSALIE MURPHY (AKA HIGH TARA) BIO
Rosalie Murphy's journey in the world of film began as a self-taught editor in 2013, driven by her parallel career as the artiste known as High Tara. Her initial foray into editing involved crafting her own music videos and extending her talents to assist other musicians.

In 2014, Rosalie was invited by students from the UWI Community Film Project to participate in their graduation film. This initial involvement spurred her passion for film further. In 2015, she was once again asked to contribute to the students' graduation project, this time expressing her desire to lend her editing expertise. Melissa Tuluch, the film coordinator, gladly welcomed her aboard.

One of Rosalie's notable roles was in the film "Right Choice," which earned recognition at the GATFFEST FILM FESTIVAL. It was during this experience that she crossed paths with other members of the UWI Community Film Project team. Her interactions with Professor Ian Boxill, the founder and former director of the project, and EK Campbell, the leading instructor, proved influential. They encouraged her to consider joining the next cohort.

In 2016, Rosalie embraced this opportunity, enrolling in the UWI Community Film Project. Since then, she has consistently crafted professional content, including award-winning documentaries, short films, and music videos. Her portfolio has also expanded to encompass coverage of major events, as well as mentoring and tutoring aspiring filmmakers. The story of her journey continues to evolve, promising even more remarkable achievements in the world of film.
