Firefly Films (Jamaica) Film & TV production In 1995, Paul Bucknor assembled a consortium to buy the iconic Electric Cinema on Portobello Road in London.

The same year he wrote the original story for "The Full Monty" and co-produced the film for 20th Century Fox. It was nominated for 4 Academy Awards, including "Best Picture" and won for "Best Score". After a brief "spell" in Hollywood he settled on pushing the emerging digital film industry in Jamaica. Spawning from that, came Firefly Films, a film production company that encourages a space for collective film making.
