UWI STAT Mona UWI STAT Ambassadors are the Vice Chancellor’s Student Representatives on all the four campuses, Cave Hill, Mona, Open Campus and St. Augustine.

STAT Ambassadors strive to be leaders and companions to fellow students, alumni and the UWI community. The UWI STAT vision is to introduce students to the importance of alumni relations, to educate them about the UWI Alumni Association (UWIAA) and the relevance of Caribbean cross-cultural integration, thereby involving both students and alumni in a life long relationship with The University of the

West Indies. UWI STAT provides students with opportunities for integration with fellow Caribbean colleagues. In addition it encourages the development of leadership skills and provides experiences that enhance students’ education and scope. This is done through the promotion of regional “Pelican Pride” through involvement in campus, community and alumni activities.
