ONE Love Jamboree

ONE Love Jamboree One Love Jamboree page was created to introduce our JCDC Festival Finalist Wayne "Stonewall" Watkins delivering our #1 entry One Love Jamboree

11/07/2016

The final hurdle was crossed on Saturday July 9 at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. "No Wey Like Jamaica" by Oneil "Nazzleman" Scott was selected as the 2016 Festival Song. Team Jamboree extends congratulations to the winner Mr Scott and his team and invites Jamaica to rally around the theme as we work towards a better country. We especially want to big up JCDC for including our song in the final 10, the many Jamaicans and by extension the rest of the world that openly expressed the confidence in "One Love Jamboree" being a strong contender and to those who are disappointed with the result we say respect the judges decision. " One Love Jamboree" is a project of which the Festival Competition is one phase. It was written over twenty six (26) years ago with a true community spirit and evolves today as a song that the Enfield in St. Mary and other communities embrace. Let us use the energy of the lyrics contained in to revitalized the progress and prosperity of this nation by first improving that of our communities. As we continue to enjoy this Festival 2016 in a "One Love Jamboree" style we share and enjoy the feeling that there is "No Wey Like Jamaica" Thank you all.

Happy Independence Jamaica : from Team Jamboree
