YARD Empire NGO YARD Empire mission is to rekindle, develop and promote the dignity and self-worth of all who participate in our programs and activities.

Y.A.R.D EMPIRE has been established as a "NOT FOR PROFIT" organization in Jamaica. Our organization comprises a select group of service-oriented individuals who are driven by the need to make contributions to the development of youth. The challenges of youth are many. Our team is seized of the importance of positive intervention to make a difference in the lives of the "at risk youth". We believe

that exposing youth to new ideas and ways of thinking will contribute to positive behavioral changes. The programs to be implemented by YARD will seek to influence change through participation and exposure to the arts and sports.

At this time of year, we are all focused on getting ready for the Christmas holidays. But for many of the men and boys we serve at YARD Empire the brightness of the season can cast long, difficult shadows. For men and boys facing instability, trauma, or marginalization, the holidays often amplify what is missing. When schools close, they lose their primary safety net, their guaranteed meals, and their reliable mentors. That's we at YARD Empire continue our work throughout the holidays to ensure that we continue to support at risk men and boys, through concerts and events that keep them engaged.
