VIBES means Victory in Blessing Each Soul and our mandate has been to inspire and transform peoples lives by speaking to reallife issues and using drama to suggest reasonable conclusions. This institution of creative expression had its origin on Saturday February 05, 2011 and is based in Islington, St. We have been using the musical theatre format to send our message across; however we are indeed
a holistic performing arts group which specialises in dance, singing and drama. Challenges-our premiere drama looks at a variety of situations which plague peoples lives and the consequences. The lead actor Gerwayne Crosdale plays the role of Pastor Yoshi Bell the arrogant and overbearing leader of a church and family is strongwilled in all that he does but he will eventually have to learn that pride is a creator of a bellyful of problems.
2.) Yoshi Bell and the Family: This play carries the name of the protagonist in the first play;however the two plays carry separate plots. This drama showcases the enemy presenting himself as a feeder of challenges. When all is lost, Yoshi Bell has to come to the conclusiion that it is only the mercy of the Lord that keeps him. The group consists of 10 persons: Kemar Crosdale is the director and is supported by resource persons Alana Trusty(secretary) and Gary Allen (Treasurer). To fulfil the various aspects of production there are subdirectors who report to the director- Dwight Williams is the musical diector, Gerwayne Crosdale is the director of dance; while the drama function is shared between Camille Morris and Samanta Coldspring. The other members of the cast are Shavorn Crosdale, Akeenu Allen, and Sophia Crosdale. Currently, the group is willing to perform pro bono;however any group or individual seeking our services will need to consider covering our transportation costs
