This is our story.

Founded in 2022 under the artistic direction of Carolyn Rose Ramsay, Ballet d’Jèrri is Jersey’s National Ballet, created to build a world-class company rooted in the Channel Islands.

From our first rehearsals in a working potato shed in 2023 to stages beyond Jersey today, our journey is shaped by artistic excellence, innovation, and community connection.

We create bold contemporary work inspired by Jersey’s heritage, collaborating with leading and emerging choreographers, and sharing dance through performance, outreach, and education.

As a registered charity, we are supported by the Government of Jersey, private donors, sponsors, and funding bodies, helping us bring dance into schools, care homes, and community spaces across the island.

We’ve come so far, but this is just the beginning.

Tickets are now on sale for “Witches” in Guernsey 🧙‍♀️🇬🇬

Katya Bourvis’ “Flux” and Vidya Patel’s “Mark Our Ashes” were inspired by the dark history of the Witch Trials in the Channel Islands.

We’ll be performing them at PRPCA in Guernsey on 26-28 March, alongside dance workshops and visits to local care homes.
