Yesterday, at the Jersey Battle of Flowers Trophy Presentation & Celebration BBQ, we were incredibly proud to be presented with the Prix d’Honneur. 🏆

To every single person who played a part in this achievement, whether you designed, built, engineered, decorated, flowered, performed, organised, supported, or simply got stuck in whenever needed… THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. 🏆

Two years of teamwork, dedication and hard graft resulted in something pretty special — our record-equalling 20th Prix d’Honneur!

As we celebrate our 20th Prix d’Honneur, we have to start with a massive THANK YOU to Building Renovations Ltd for their incredible support over the past five years.

We genuinely could not have achieved this without them. Their support has helped us create, flower and parade some truly amazing exhibits — including this year’s Brave masterpiece! 🏹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌸

Sadly, our sponsorship journey now comes to an end. While we’re sorry to see them go, we’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for The Optimists Club.

What a day. What a team. What a result! ❤️

Despite the incredible heat, our team put on an absolute belting show and performance for the public and judges. The energy, passion, smiles and Scottish spirit were there for every second of the parade. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏹🌸

And then came the moment we’ve all been waiting for… PRIX D’HONNEUR — THE OPTIMISTS CLUB

Our 20th, equalling the record. 🤯🏆

A huge, huge THANK YOU to every single person who has played their part in making this happen. From designing and building, to flowering, performing, driving, supporting, organising and everything in between — this belongs to every one of you.

And to everyone who cheered us on along the avenue today — THANK YOU! Your support made the heat, the hard work and the long hours absolutely worth it.

Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow we light it and do it all again.

That’s a wrap! The final flower was stuck at 11:10 and our Brave exhibit is officially FLOWERED! 🎉🌸

What an incredible few days it has been — sooo hot, long hours, Scottish tunes and thousands upon thousands of flowers bringing two years of hard work to life.

From the very first design to the very last flower, this has been a huge team effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of what everyone has achieved. ❤️

A massive THANK YOU and WELL DONE to every single person who has designed, built, created, decorated, flowered, fixed, lifted, carried, glued and grafted their way to this moment.

Merida is ready. The bears are ready. The float is ready.
